Frosch is a pioneer brand in the development of ecological products that was born in 1986 in Germany. The Frosch brand was created from the start with the mission of caring for people and the planet. Our ecological products have been present in Portugal since 2021.

Our goal is to develop products that combine the natural power of cleaning with the highest degree of environmental protection. Eco-friendly cleaning in 100% recycled & recyclable bottles, formulas with natural ingredients and no microplastics.

European Leader in Eco-cleaning products

The Frosch brand is present in different cleaning categories, such as Fabric Care, Dish Washing and Household Cleaning. Frosch products are gentle on the skin, based on natural ingredients and are sold in innovative recycled bottles – which is good for our planet.

Frosch has also decided to go one step further and launched a special care range: Frosch Baby for cleaning and clothing care adapted to the needs of babies.

Certified ecology

All our developments have numerous certifications at the highest level that reward the composition of our products, our packaging and our production. For example, our production facility boasts the following certificates: EMAS, ISO 14001 and 50001.

In addition, most Frosch products are Ecolabel certified and some even Cradle to Cradle certified!

Cradle to Cradle

Frosch is Cradle to Cradle certified. The objective of the Cradle to Cradle certification is to design products that comply with the circular economy; that is, they are broken down, recycled and reintegrated into the environment after use. The Cradle to Cradle philosophy is based on a closed loop design. The objective is to counter the concept of linear production "from cradle to grave", in which so much material is wasted by not taking into account the protection of natural resources in the long term.

Ecolabel

The European ecological label or Ecolabel is issued by a public body and takes into account the entire life cycle of the product, from production to recycling or disposal after use. It is reliable, independent and guarantees that the certified product is at least as effective as an equivalent traditional (non-ecological) product. All eligible Frosch products have received an Ecolabel certification.

Frosch has developed a special cleaning, washing and stain-removing range of sensitive products to take good care of your little one and their special needs:

Extremely gentle formulas that are skin-friendly, eco-friendly and at the same efficiently remove stains from, for example, milk or porridge, which are frequently seen with babies.

Our skin is a miracle of nature. It repairs itself and protects the body from external influences. However, people with sensitive skin often suffer from allergic reactions and itching. This makes it all the more important for clothes to be soft and cuddly and feel comfortable against the skin. The right choice of detergent plays an important role here. With the skin-friendly Frosch Aloe Vera Sensitive detergent you are in safe hands.

The Frosch Aloe Vera Sensitive detergent is made from a particularly skin-friendly formula, which is well tolerated by people with allergies and sensitive skin and by babies. It does not contain any colourings or preservatives and is hypoallergenic, which means it contains no ingredients that cause allergies. Dermatological tests have confirmed that the detergent is well tolerated by the skin.

Tips & tricks for sensitive skin

Carefully remove any labels that may rub against the skin before wearing.
Wash new clothes at least once before wearing.
Pay attention to the ingredients of a detergent: choose mildly scented detergents if possible (without allergens), detergents that are without preservatives, hypoallergenic and dermatologically tested.
When it comes to dosing, follow the manufacturer's instructions and do not use too much.
Use fabric softeners. They smoothen out the textile fibres and thus reduce friction on the skin.

The perfect laundry result in 10 steps

Sort laundry by material, cleaning needs and colour.
Pay attention to the washing and care symbols on the sewn-in labels.
Pre-treat laundry with stain removers - this means you can skip the pre-wash cycle, which is good for the environment.
Load washing machine leaving one hand’s width of space at the top of the drum.
Select wash cycle according to basic laundry type: hot wash, coloureds, easy-care, delicates or wool.
Washing temperature up to 60°C is sufficient for clean laundry.
Choose detergent based on material (colour detergent for coloureds, heavy-duty detergent for whites, mild and wool detergent for delicates and wool, etc.).
Choose amount of detergent based on manufacturer’s instructions.
Add fabric softener for soft, fragrant laundry.
Use the tumble dryer as little as possible, place particularly sensitive materials wet on a laundry rack and air the room regularly.
